Summary
Flipta helps you scan, compare, and decide in seconds. We do not sell personal data and we do not show third-party ads. Some features contact our servers to return product matches and live pricing data.
Data We Process
We process barcodes, search queries, product identifiers, pricing inputs, alert thresholds, inventory notes, and your region to return matches and deals. We also create a random device identifier used to authenticate API requests. If you choose to scan barcodes, the camera is used. If you choose to attach receipt or item photos, we access photos you select.
How We Use Data
We use this data to match products, show offers and resale comps, calculate profit, and manage your watchlist and inventory.
Third-Party Services
To provide comparisons and live pricing, we may share limited identifiers (such as barcodes or product IDs) with trusted data providers or marketplaces. They receive only what is needed to return results.
Data Storage & Retention
We store your watchlist, alerts, and inventory on our servers so they are available across sessions. App preferences and cached data may be stored locally on your device. You can delete local data by removing the app. To request removal of server-side data, contact us.
Your Choices
You can decline camera or photo permissions in iOS Settings and still search manually. You can also request access or deletion of your data by contacting us.
